Mark Gowing Design is currently featured in the Graphic Material exhibition at Sydney’s UTS Gallery. Curated by Aaron Seymour, the exhibition focuses on graphic designers that utilise unconventional materials and technologies to push the boundaries of their discipline. Graphic Material explores this freedom through new and innovative works by local and international designers. The lines between design disciplines, so long conceptualised in terms of their material output, are increasingly blurred. Traversing contemporary design, art and technology, the exhibition is an exploration of graphic design freed from the constraints of paper and ink. Mark Gowing Design installed the original neon sign that was created for the Hopscotch motion identity along with a monitor to loop the finished product. Special thanks to Silversalt for the lovely images.
